Biography

I produce architectural landscapes in both vibrant colour and detailed elaborate line work. Celebrating the beauty and atmosphere of amazing places from home and around the world.

My work is highly detailed, energetic and produced with an expressionistic style using a balance of paint, artist markers and fine liners. I want my paintings to capture the essence of each location with a heightened sense of reality which is simultaneously familiar and fantastical. My work is applied to either paper or canvas.

While studying for my degree in Illustration at Southampton Institute I developed a love for drawing architecture. Over the past 25 years I have been inspired to capture the life of buildings with my dynamic lines, radiant colours and strong perspectives.

My aim is to attract people into the landscape, to imagine being there, like you can walk into it and view the colours in reality.
